The Land Plan
All the bounty. With none of the bustle.
Farmlore will move at a slower, more rational pace, offering respite among over 60 acres of open space.
Each of three neighborhoods will surround its very own 3+-acre park. The big community park will hum with day-to-night diversions. Imagine rousing birthday parties at an outdoor pool. A bit of friendly competition at the athletic fields. A grand lawn for movie nights and a summer concert series. Soft playgrounds where little ones can climb to their hearts’ content. Creative spaces to spark healthy activity.
Farmlore will be a surprisingly walkable community with miles of peaceful trails ultimately connecting to the neighboring regional park, with its three dedicated lakes (once used to irrigate Farmlore’s flower fields), open space, local wildlife and abundant outdoor recreation. The community’s younger residents will be able to walk to school, and maybe even home for lunch, with a future school site right in the neighborhood.
The 7,000-square-foot barn (once the place where flower bulbs were stored) is planned to be the beating heart of the community, with lofty spaces opening to the outdoors and surrounded by sprawling lawns, garden patches and communal tables where friends and neighbors convene. Possibilities for the space run the gamut from a library, restaurant, coffee shop or brewery to an event space or rambling soccer field.
